Attia Hussain is a Supervising Solicitor-Advocate with Higher Rights of Audience, based primarily at our Luton office and covering Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and London, managing an experienced and robust team.
Specialising in Family and Children Law since 2008, Attia provides her clients with continuity of representation both in the office and in court, personally undertaking advocacy in the majority of her cases.

Attia has been a member of the Law Society’s Accredited Children Panel since 2012.
Her practice encompasses the full spectrum of complex Public and Private Law Children matters, including:
- Care proceedings and Private children law disputes
- Wardship and adoption
- Termination of parental responsibility
- Cases involving child human trafficking
- Non-accidental injury and jurisdictional issues
Attia’s expertise also extends to family/children cases with crossover criminal law elements, such as alleged grooming, sexual offences, non-accidental injuries, and matters involving the deaths of adults or children.
She is frequently instructed to represent children, whether through their Children’s Guardians or directly when they can provide their own instructions. Attia is also widely recognised for her ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and accessible way, particularly when working with young children/teen client. She takes care to ensure that children and young clients understand the process and feel supported throughout, making her advocacy not only effective but also approachable.
Attia has built a strong reputation for her work in Deprivation of Liberty and Secure Accommodation applications, often acting at very short notice in the High Court.
